Over 21,000 visitors use O2 World WLAN in last 3 months

Telefonica Germany is expanding the digital infrastructure at the O2 World centre in Berlin. Visitors can pay with mpass using their mobile phone throughout the centre, and the firm is working on an indoor navigation system to help visitors. The O2 World offers free WLAN internet access for all visitors, with 1 GB data allowance provided after an initial registration. In the last three months, over 21,000 visitors have used the free WLAN service, generating over 3 TB of data traffic.
