Over 3,200 numbers ported in Montenegro during Q1

The number portability service was used by 3,240 subscribers in Montenegro in the first quarter of this year, the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (EKIP) announced, reports Mina-business. Of that number, fixed telephony subscribers amounted to 1,020, while in the mobile telephony segment, a total of 2,220 numbers were transferred.

In fixed networks, 517 numbers were transferred from Crnogorski Telekom to Telemach, 478 from Crnogorski Telekom to m:tel, 17 from Crnogorski Telekom to Telenor, four from m:tel to Telenor and six to Crnogorski Telekom. 

Regarding number portings between mobile networks, 1,360 were transferred to m:tel, 520 to Crnogorski Telekom and 337 to Telenor. 

Since December 2011, a total of 37,140 numbers have been ported, of which 8,900 fixed and 28,240 mobile.
