Over 6 in 10 Mexican SMEs selling online - study

Nearly two-thirds (64.2%) of Mexican SMEs now use e-commerce as an additional sales channel, reports website Xataka, citing a survey of companies with an annual turner of less than MXN 50 million conducted by the AMVO online sales association. The figure has risen by 94.6 percent year on year, with as many as two out of ten local SMEs launching online sales after the Covid-19 pandemic started, many of them using social networks as well as Mercado Libre and Amazon Marketplace platforms to boost their digital presence.
