Over 6 in 10 Mexican users spending up to 2 hours watching OTT video

Over 6 in 10 Mexican users (61.7%) subscribed to streaming platforms such as Netflix, Blim and Claro Video spend up to two hours a day viewing video content, according to a report on subscription video on demand (SVoD) services from telecom regulator IFT. Nearly 3 in 10 (27.2%) of the total use the platforms for 3 to 5 hours a day, with 6.0 percent spending more than 5 hours a day consuming content. The watchdog also found that 40.2 percent of users view more than one episode of a series a day, rising to 52.6 percent of users aged 25 to 34.
