Over 60% of Germans shop for Christmas presents online

Almost two-thirds (62%) of Germans aged 14 and older will buy Christmas presents online, and one in four (24%) will exclusively use the internet for their shopping, according to a recent survey by IT association Bitkom. Another 25 percent only want to buy gifts in shops. Especially women prefer local stores, at 30 percent compared to men at 21 percent.
