Over 70% of Mexican users satisfied with telephony service

Over 70 percent of Mexican fixed and mobile telephony users are satisfied with the service they receive, according to the latest consumer survey by the IFT. The survey of 10,655 consumers conducted in July and August revealed that 74.2 out of 100 users were satisfied with their fixed telephony service thanks to the attention received, the clarity of the bill and the speed of response to problems. Mobile satisfaction was 72.6 percent thanks to improved broadband speed, coverage and continuity of service.

In the pay-TV market, 71.1 percent of consumers said they were satisfied with the service received, above all due to the quality of the image (75.1%) and the number and variety of channels available (73.0%), while 74.1 percent of fixed broadband users were satisfied with the quality of video playback.
