Over 7,000 websites join EU Slowdown net neutrality protest

Tuesday 28 June 2016 | 17:35 CET | News
More than 7,000 websites are joining an 'EU Slowdown' on Tuesday 28 June to protest loopholes in Europe's new net neutrality guidelines. The EU Slowdown is being organised by Fight for the Future and other members of the SaveTheInternet.eu coalition. The protest focuses on loopholes that would allow European ISPs to sell internet 'fast lanes' to large companies while pushing smaller sites and start-ups to a 'slow lane'.
