Over four fifths of Germans want better digital equipment in schools

The vast majority of Germans (81%) want an improvement in digital equipment in schools, according to a YouGov survey, Heise Online reports. The majority of Germans (70%) also wants the federal government, instead of the local government, to has a stronger say in decisions relating to schools. More than half (57%) completely oppose local government responsibility for education, while one third believes in its positive role.
