Over half a million Spanish users port mobile number in Sept

Spanish operator MasMovil topped the country's mobile portability figures in September, adding a net total of around 20,000 lines during a month in which some 500,000 users decided to change operator, according to economiza.com. However, MasMovil's recently-acquired operator Yoigo fared less well, shedding 3,900 users after leading the portability rankings in the previous two months, while its Pepephone brand lost some 5,200 customers. Rivals Vodafone and Movistar lost 12,300 and 13,000 mobile customers respectively in September, although Vodafone's figures were offset by the 8,400 new
