Over half of Brits expected to use tablets by end of year

An estimated 50.3 percent of the population will be using tablets in the UK at least once a month by the end of the year, rising to 60 percent to reach 40.2 million users by 2019, according to a forecast from eMarketer. Apple iPad users will make up the most of the UK tablet audience, although the Samsung Galaxy Note, Google Nexus 7 and Amazon Kindle Fire are gaining market share.
