P3 to test UK mobile network performance

The consulting and testing firm P3 communications announced the launch of a regular mobile network benchmark in the UK. Based on voice and data measurements, the benchmark is designed to analyze and objectively compare the performance of all UK mobile networks from the end-user's perspective. It will focus on voice and data services on LTE smartphones. Measurements will be conducted across the big metropolitan areas, the connecting roads between those cities and smaller towns close to the connecting roads. The testing will start in October, with the first report published in November. P3
