PAC-12 taps Zayo to boost bandwidth for sports event

Friday 1 April 2016 | 10:20 CET | News
Pac-12 Networks, the media arm of the Pac-12 Conference, selected Zayo Group, to boost its bandwidth capability for its four-day Men's Basketball Tournament coverage in Las Vegas. Zayo's platform included a wavelength service between the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, the site of tournament, and Pac-12 Network headquarters in San Francisco. This Pac-12 platform used fibre from a combination of prior acquisitions, including American Fiber Systems, 360networks, and AboveNet, and organic development through major mobile infrastructure projects in the Bay Area and Las Vegas.
