Padtec provides 100 and 200 Gbps transponders for Brisanet

Brazilian regional operator Brisanet has invested in a new generation of Padtec 100 and 200 Gbps transponders to light routes in the northeast of Brazil, increasing the total transmission capacity of its DWDM optical network. According to Brisanet CEO Roberto Nogueira, Padtec's transponders will allow the operator to expand the total transmission capacity of its optical network from Gbps to Tbps later this year.
