Pakistan announces telecom license renewal pricing

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has set the price of mobile license renewal at USD 39.5 million per MHz for the 900 MHz spectrum and USD 29.5 million per MHz for 1800 MHz spectrum, ProPakistani reports, citing an Authority statement. Pakistani operators should pay the license renewal fee by 21 August to continue providing services on the local market after this deadline.
