Pakistan extends deadline for mobile device registration to 15 September

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has extended the deadline for mobile device registration. PTA urges customers who use a dual-SIM mobile device, where one IMEI is registered and the second is not, to submit a SIM registration requests to the Authority by 15 September. The previous deadline was set for 31 August.
