Pakistan govt agrees to renew Jazz and Telenor licences

The Pakistani government has agreed to move ahead with the renewal off Jazz and Telenor's mobile licenses. The expanded licenses would be valid for the next 15 years and cost USD 449.2 million each for the renewal. Zong can also renew its mobile license for USD 470 million, ProPakistani reports, citing Firdous Ashiq Awan, special assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan on information and broadcasting services.
