Pakistan watchdog to investigate award of 3G/4G license by previous govt

Pakistan's National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has approved an inquiry into the allegedly illegal award of contract of the Next Generation Mobile Services (NGMS 3G/4G), which caused huge losses to the national exchequer, ProPakistani reports. The NAB Executive Board Meeting (EBM) approved the inquiry against former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, former Minister for Information Technology Anusha Rehman and former Chairman Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) Ismail Shah and others over the illegal award of the 3G/4G contract.
