Palmera deploys emergency communications in Ecuador

US provider of rapid-reaction communications solutions Palmera Communications Group (PCG) has successfully deployed emergency communications using capacity on the Eutelsat 115 West B satellite to facilitate the relief effort in the earthquake zone in Ecuador. NewCom International, a SpeedCast Group company that specialises in satellite communications for Latin America, facilitated PCG's emergency communications systems through its teleport in Lima, Peru.
