Panasonic Avionics to pay USD 281 mln to settle US corruption investigation

Panasonic has agreed to pay penalties of USD 280.6 million to settle a US investigation into corrupt sales practices at its unit Panasonic Avionics, which supplies in-flight entertainment and communications systems. The settlement with the Securities and Exchange Commission and the US Department of Justice ends an investigation started in February 2017.
