Paris suspends base station deployments on city buildings

Paris city hall has decided to immediately suspend all new base station deployments on the city government-owned buildings, Le Monde reports, citing Mao Peninou, head of municipal public service quality. There are 186 base stations installed on city buildings, out of 1,200 across the city. The move follows the recent announcement of the breakdown of the city's charter with operators which set a maximum exposure to mobile emissions to 2 Volts per meter, on average, over 24 hours.
