Pay-TV, mobile marketing boost UK ad market - study

The latest report from ZenithOptimedia forecasts that the total UK ad market will grow by 2.9 percent to GBP 12.58 billion in 2013, driven by a rise in TV ad spend and the growth of mobile ads, reports The Guardian. Advertising spend will be driven by the marketing battle between BT and British Sky Broadcasting as they compete to attract pay-TV sports subscribers, as well as campaigns by mobile network operators to promote 4G services.
