PayPoint sells online payments businesses to Capita

PayPoint has sold its online payment businesses, comprising PayPoint.net and Metcharge, to Capita for a cash sum of GBP 14 million. PayPoint previously announced plans to sell their mobile and online businesses to focus on multi-channel payments with retail networks. It will issue an update on the sale of the Mobile Payments business in due course.
