PC and TV access grows in Brazil during Covid-19 pandemic

Use of PCs in Brazil increased from 51 percent in 2019 to 60 percent during the Covid-19 pandemic, while the use of TV went up from 40 percent to 58 percent in the same period, according to the latest survey by Cetic.br. More internet users have started watching videos, listening to music and reading news online, while the number of people ordering food or shopping online tripled when compared to 2018. Mobile phones continue to be the main form of internet access, mentioned by 98 percent of those polled.
