PC shipments lift 4.6% in Q2, constrained by component shortages - Gartner

Tuesday 13 July 2021 | 12:05 CET | News
PC shipments lifted 4.6 percent year-on-year to 71.6 million units in the second quarter, according to preliminary results by Gartner. Growth remained above pre-pandemic levels but was still limited by ongoing component shortages, and so came below the record lift recorded in the first quarter. Moving forward, rising prices could continue to slow PC demand through the next 6-12 months.
