Pelephone to shed up to 500 workers in service and engineering departments

Bezeq Israel's mobile phone unit, Pelephone, plans to make 400-500 employees redundant, reported Globes, citing the workers' committee. This is one quarter of its staff and this includes temporary ones. The job cuts will be in the company's service and engineering departments.
