Pepephone Mexico MVNO to launch in 2016 - Movistar

Movistar Mexico (Telefonica) has announced that Spanish operator Pepephone will launch a Mexican MVNO on its network in 2016. The services will include broadband at 4G speeds in Mexico City, said Movistar. Pepephone launched as an MVNO in Spain in 2007 and has reached nearly half a million customers in its domestic market, having recently migrated its Spanish customers to Movistar's network from that of Vodafone. By the end of the year Movistar hopes to be offering network services to 12 operators, including the MVNOs of Virgin Mobile, QboCel, Cierto, Maz Tiempo, Maxcom and Megacable, as well
