Friday 25 September 2015 | 11:26 CET | News
Spanish operator Pepephone is hoping to launch its Mexican MVNO by March or April 2016, reports website Xataka Mexico, citing the company's CEO Pedro Serrahima. As in Spain, Pepephone will use Movistar (Telefonica) as its network partner and its services will include broadband at 4G speeds in Mexico City. Pepephone launched as an MVNO in Spain in 2007 and has reached nearly half a million customers in its domestic market. Serrahima also confirmed that the company is hoping to launch as an MVNO in Colombia, although its plans are at a less advanced stage.
