Pepephone waives excess data fees

Thursday 19 April 2018 | 14:47 CET | News
Spanish operator Pepephone has followed the lead of parent company Masmovil and announced that it will no longer apply automatic charges for excess data consumed by subscribers. Previously customers paid 3.6 eurocents per MB to continue browsing (1 eurocent under the Inimitable plan) but the operator will now simply reduce speeds to 128Kbps once they reach their limit. Alternatively, users can activate a 1GB additional daily bundle for EUR 1.
