Peru amends frequency allocation plan ahead of 5G

Peru's communications ministry (MTC) announced the publication of a decree amending the country's mobile frequency allocation plan in order to improve data coverage in the country and to prepare for the arrival of 5G services. Following a two-week public consultation, the MTC reorganised the 452.5MHz-457.5MHz/462.5MHz-467.5MHz; 806MHz-821MHz/851MHz-866MHz; 2500MHz-2692MHz; 2300MHz-2400MHz; and 3400MHz-3600MHz ranges for the provision of advanced mobile technologies.
