Peru hits 7.5 mln internet homes at end of 2019

There were 7.48 million Peruvian homes with access to the internet at the end of 2019, equivalent to 76.2 percent of all households, according to the latest Erestel residential telecommunications report released by regulator Osiptel. The figure corresponds to fixed or mobile internet access and is 6.3 percent higher than the 2018 total and some 283 percent higher than when the report was first issued in 2012.
