Peru launches online consumer complaints service

Peru's National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Intellectual Property (Indecopi) has launched a new online tool along the lines of Mexico's 'Soy Usuario' platform for consumers to report complaints regarding telecommunications and other services. The free complaints platform is called 'Concilia Facil' and will be available as a desktop and mobile application. It offers conflict mediation between users and service providers in a number of sectors, above all telecommunications and banking, with suppliers who fail to comply with the agreement reached facing fines of up to PEN
