Peruvian fixed internet traffic up a third in 6th week of lockdown

Peruvian telecommunications regulator Osiptel revealed that the country's fixed internet traffic was up 33.5 percent in the sixth week of the lockdown imposed by the government due to the coronavirus outbreak. In its latest weekly update, the watchdog said data traffic also increased by 9.3 percent on mobile networks from 20 to 26 April compared to the week before the lockdown (09-15 March).
