Peruvian operators launch special tariffs for disabled users

Peruvian operators Movistar (Telefonica), Claro (America Movil), Entel and Bitel have announced their intention to launch special mobile telephony tariffs for disabled users after signing a deal with telecommunications sector regulator Osiptel. The agreement follows the proposal launched by Osiptel earlier this year to offer people with disabilities access to discounts of up to 40 percent as long as they attest to their status via the corresponding disability certificate.
