Pharol and Oi deal to end all disputes goes into effect

The agreement between Brazilian operator Oi and its indirect shareholder Pharol, which puts an end to the disputes between the two companies, has entered into force. The agreement to terminate all judicial and extrajudicial disputes was concluded in January and became effective after the expiry of a 15 working day period. The second part of the agreement foresees the delivery to Bratel (Pharol) of 33.8 million Oi shares, of which 32 million are common shares and 1.8 million are preferred shares.
