Pharol has one month to decide what to do with Oi

Wednesday 13 June 2018 | 18:00 CET | News
Portuguese company Pharol (former Portugal Telecom) has until 16 July to exercise a preemptive right to subscribe for new shares and so avoid an excessive drop in its share in Brazilian operator Oi, reports Jornal de Negocios. From 15 June, Oi shareholders will have 30 days to use the preemptive right to subscribe for the new shares to be issued in the capital increase. The proportion of shares that can be subscribed takes into account the number of ordinary and/or preferred shares held by shareholders on 14 June.
