Pharol seeks reinstatement of Oi board members

Pharol (formerly Portugal Telecom) has told Oi that the period of suspension of its shareholders' political rights had expired and therefore members of the board of directors who were removed by court order earlier in the year must be reinstated, reports O Estado de Sao Paulo. The directors removed were Luis Palha and Pedro Leitao, both representatives of Pharol, and Helio Costa, representative of the Societe Mondiale.
