Phase3 Telecom urges cooperation to achieve 30% broadband penetration goal

Phase3 Telecom has begun a plan to realise the 2013 Nigerian National Broadband Plan (NBP) of 30 percent penetration, which includes collaborating with other stakeholders to achieve 18,000 km of fibre optics across the country, ThisDay reported. The fibre optics provider underscored the need to sustain partnerships to inject investment into broadband infrastructure deployment. Broadband penetration is currently at 21 percent.
