PM names new Culture Secretary, Digital Economy Minister

UK Prime Minister Theresa May has appointed MP Karen Bradley as the new Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport. She replaces John Whittingdale. The Department for Culture, Media and Sport has overall responsibility for delivering of the BDUK broadband programme. The PM has also appointed Hancock MP as Minister of State responsible for digital policy at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. He replaces current Digital Economy Minister Ed Vaizey.
