Poa! signs up 1,500 home internet connections

Budget internet provider Poa!, serving the low-income slums of Kibera and Kawangware in Nairobi, has now registered over 1,500 home connections. Hundreds of users of Poa!'s KES 10 an hour and KES 50 a day public Wi-Fi have moved to Poa!'s KES 1,500 a month wireless home internet service. The wireless home service lets slum residents connect up to five devices to their router at any time.
