Poland considers lower fees for MNOs that invest in coverage

The Polish Ministry of Digitisation has sent a draft amendment to the Act on supporting the development of telecommunications services and networks (the so-called Mega Act) to the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers, reports Telko.in. Compared to the original version, a new provision has been added, according to which the UKE will be able to offer operators that invest in improving mobile coverage relief on annual regulatory and spectrum fees.
