The Polish government has announced the list of companies which will face stricter governmental control under the special law on investments adopted in 2015, reports Telko.in. Telecom companies Emitel, TK Telekom and Hawe Telekom are included in the list, which brings together firms important to the public interest.

Under the law, certain restrictions could include a ban on the acquisition by certain parties of shares in these companies. Some other restrictions may also be enforced.
