Thanks to 5G technologies, Poland's GDP may increase by 13-22 percent in next few years, said Polish Minister of Investments and Development Jerzy Kwiecinski during the opening of the stand of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) at MWC 2018. Around 60 companies from Poland participated at the MWC in Barcelona this year, although not all of them with their own stand.

In January, the Polish government put the 5G strategy out to consultation. One of the barriers to 5G deployment may be the strict limits to exposure to electromagnetic fields.
