Polish ministry gives up plan for illegal web sites registry

Polish Ministry of Digitisation decided that there will be no central registry of prohibited internet domains. The proposal to create such a registry was originally in response to the requirements of operators. Apart from the list of illegal gambling websites, which is already required by the legislation on gambling, the proposed new list was to include also sites dealing with prohibited goods or illegal content. The ministry now withdraws from its plan to implement such registry as it would present an internet censorship.
