Polish report looks at plans for 2nd digital dividend

KPMG prepared an analysis for the Polish Ministry of Digitalisation on scenarios for the possible distribution of the 700 MHz band, reports Rpkom.pl. The analysis was completed on 18 December 2015 and published on the ministry's website at the beginning of February. KPMG conducted a cost and benefit analysis of the changed usage of frequencies from the 700 MHz band (from TV signal broadcasting to mobile services) and for various scenarios. KPMG valued the potential state income from the digital dividend at PLN 1.24-2.16 billion, depending on the number of spectrum blocks to be re-allocated:
