Poor service cost telecom sector GBP 2.98 bln in 2016

A total of 55 million complaints were made about products or services in the UK last year, up 6 percent from the year before, according to the Ombudsman Services, a major conciliation service. Its latest 'Consumer Action Monitor' found that complaints about the telecom sector made up 13 percent of the total, or 6.9 million complaints. The report estimates that poor service cost the sector GBP 2.98 billion in 2016.
