Portugal adopts rules on security and integrity of networks

Portugal's National Communications Authority (Anacom) has approved the draft regulation on the security and integrity of electronic communications networks and services. The purpose of this draft regulation is to establish: the technical implementation measures and additional requirements; the circumstances, format and procedures applicable; the conditions under which operators should disclose to the public any security breaches; and the obligation to perform security audits of networks and services.
