Portugal broadband growth slows in H1, over 70% have high-speed service

The number of residential customers of high-speed fixed broadband in Portugal reached 2.9 million at the end of June, up 9.5 percent year-on-year and accounting for a 70.1 percent household penetration rate. According to data published by the National Communications Authority (Anacom), at least 5.5 million homes had access to a high-speed network, up 4.6 percent from a year earlier.
