Fixed broadband internet traffic in Portugal increased by 53 percent in the third quarter of 2020 compared to the same period last year, according to a report by the National Communications Authority (Anacom). Average monthly traffic per line was 193 GB, up 45.7 percent year-on-year. The Covid-19 pandemic led to changes in service usage patterns, resulting in an acceleration of internet traffic growth.
