Portugal fixed broadband lines rise 4% to over 4 million in H1

Portugal ended the first half of 2021 with 4.2 million fixed broadband lines, up by 4.3 percent on the year, according to data published by the National Communications Authority (Anacom). FTTH accounted for 57.7 percent of total lines (+5.1%), followed by cable TV with 28.3 percent (-1.4%), ADSL with 7.3 percent (-3.4%) and fixed lines supported by mobile networks with 6.6 percent (-0.4%).
