Portugal fixed data traffic drops 5% in week after lifting emergency measures

Voice traffic increased by 6 percent in Portugal in the week following the end of the state of emergency (04 May to 10 May), while data traffic decreased by 5 percent from the previous week, according to data published by Portugal's National Communications Authority (Anacom). The decrease in data traffic was due to a 5 percent drop in fixed traffic, while mobile data traffic increased by 3 percent. In the case of voice traffic, both fixed and mobile voice traffic increased by 6 percent.
